MeganWestMegan West graduated from Kutztown University in 2013 with a B.S. in Electronic Media. During her last semester, she interned with ESPN in their Production Control Room (PCR) group in Production Operations. During her internship she worked in a one man band control room where she was a switcher, audio operator, and media operator. Most of these productions were for their spanish language networks or english language networks in Australia or the Caribbean. She operated for every sport from soccer to cricket and in 3 different languages (english, spanish, and portuguese).

After her internship, she worked as a Production Assistant at NBC 40 in South Jersey, just outside of Atlantic City. She operated Chryon and audio. She was there for 8 months before ESPN hired her back as an Associate Operator in January 2014. During her 2 year rotation she went through 3 different departments (studio operations, content edit, and PCR) before finally ending up back in PCR as a Media Operator in January 2016. Her main responsibilities are putting together and playing out short turn-around highlights, sound, and any other breaking news for SportsCenter. She also works in the one man band rooms, and put together taped programming such as ESPN FC and E:60. She have worked on every show they do, from the 11pm and SVP SportsCenters to the Women's NCAA Tournament and halftime shows for college football and basketball.

In her small amount of free time, she does Frisbee with her border collie Chloe. They belong to a frisbee club that has competitions all over the mid-atlantic region. She and her fiancee also love going to Yankees games and exploring CT and the rest of New England.
